This is a fine art original painting by me, Alexandra Swistak.
“Beekeeper’s Daughter” is an established subject. It is full of symbolism and has great meaning for me.
Title: Inseparable III
Medium: Original Oil on Canvas Paper
Size: 5 x 7 inch
It’s not about the house or the dress.
It’s about how she makes you feel when you look at her.
It’s about how she comforts you and takes you to a different place and different era.
I created a home in this painting for you to return to again and again.
For warmth and comfort, as do I.
For the light is in the house.
Even on the hardest days, nature reminds us that we are resilient and we have the ability to heal ourselves.
This study was painted to form a large oil painting that has sold. I often paint small studies in oils or gouache. See Tate to learn about the gouache medium. You may also commission a painting at no extra cost, please contact me if you have any questions.
