Sea to Sky is an original oil landscape painted by me, Alexandra Swistak.
Two figures and their pup admire the waves and distant landscape. Boats, nets and other signs of a busy fishing village have been safely stored away in preparation for a possible storm. There is a sense of solitude as it’s the quiet before the storm.
The color palette is rich in color that is softly layered to add depth and lead the eye to explore the entire composition.
