This is a fine art original painting by me, Alexandra Swistak.
I am known for painting portraits of beekeepers’ daughters, however this composition is completely new. This room portrait is a vanitas full of symbology for the delight and interpretation of the viewer.
These are iconic skeps, that represent a connection to nature and ancient beekeeping. The figures hint to a bygone era and valued traditions that will continue.
