Two figures are seated before an expansive panoramic burst of color and texture. The atmosphere is one of a tropical garden and its flora and fauna is inviting the viewer to linger. It’s a casual scene suggesting a reprieve, an escape from the every day.
The color palette is bold with a surprising mix of purples, greens, yellows, orange, and brown which add a strong sense of depth and richness.
The wood frame with gold leaf is a lovely finishing touch for this unique and exceptional painting.
