This is a fine art original painting by me, Alexandra Swistak.
This series is inspired by a recent visit to numerous historical and archaeological sites throughout Europe.
Walking through, lush maze like gardens, halls adorned with frescos and ceilings painted in starry filled night scenes continue to influence my work. The ancient Byzantine world, and elements of Pompeii specifically will appear in many more future collections.
